Some people are missing some sort of progress indicator (or progress bar) for zsplit/unzsplit.
With this post I would like to open a discussion:
do we need this feature really? Because, if we using these tools in scripts this could be rather useless feature.
Why we still need this feature?
How could this feature be implemented?
Thanks in advance,

Hi
When doing imaging it is useful to know how long the process is going to take.
I suggest a new option such as '-progress' to display extra lines in debug.log such as:
zsplit: Process 10% complete, estimated time remaining is 30 minutes
...
zsplit: Process 80% complete, estimated time remaining is 5 minutes
zsplit: Process 90% complete, estimated time remaining is 2 minutes
This solution is simple since is uses the existing debug.log file.
Cheers
