This mini-HowTo describes a setup that allows a local backup/restore
operation of whole devices or separate partitions using zsplit/unzsplit
tools.
My special thanks goes to [b]Folke Andersson[/b], with a help from him is this HowTo initiated.

I have written this Mini-HowTo in order to help people who have a little or no experience with linux and especially with console applications.
