Hi Jurij,

what do you think about a version for windows (using cygwin or going a way like https://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuwin32 )?

Regards,
David

Hi David,

I think that one of other development directions of whole device-image project is the client-server application. Server will run under linux, the client applications could run under different OS’s among others, of course, under windows. But I cannot predict now what time we need in order to reach this target. We will see…

Regards,
Jurij

zsplit and unzsplit compiled fine under cygwin after I added the following lines to zsplit.h and unzsplit.h (after the includes):

[code:1]

[/code:1]

I did not test yet... I guess >2GB files might not work properly... My first zsplit test is still running as I write this. ;-)

By the way, a cygwin version will/would be invaluable to me: I do not have a Linux server available, so being able to run zsplit from my Windows machines and write directly to some USB drive look like the right solution for me.

Well, as I expected, my cygwin zsplit does not seem to work over 2GB, even when splitting with the -s option. At least I tried. ;-)
